If there is a video interview in the prison, the prisoner will write an application in the prison and give it to the captain of the prison. After the captain in charge of the prison signs, he will get the signature of the prison brigade and then send it to the prison management department for signature. After the detention center opens a video interview, prisoners can communicate with their families through the video chat function of WeChat. Family members don't have to go to the detention center once a month as before. This video interview is unlimited, as long as family members or prisoners make an appointment in advance, but each time it can't exceed half an hour.

Video interviews can be divided into two-way and one-way video interviews. Family members of convicted prisoners can conduct two-way video interviews through the Internet, and family members of undecided prisoners can conduct one-way video interviews in detention centers. Only family members can visit undecided prisoners, and the two sides are not allowed to talk. At present, in addition to Chengyang Detention Center, detention centers in Jiaozhou, Huangdao, Jiaonan and Jimo have already made online appointments to realize video conferencing, and detention centers directly under Laixi and Pingdu and detachments 1, 2 and 3 will soon make online appointments and video conferencing.

Prison interview process:

1, confirm the meeting time. Under normal circumstances, each prisoner can meet once a month. Those who want to meet should visit and meet on the designated day of each month according to the meeting schedule of the prison where the prisoner is located.

2. Bring relevant documents. When meeting for the first time, family members need to go through the formalities with their valid ID card, household registration book or proof of kinship with prisoners. When we meet again, I will handle it with my ID card.

3. Accept the security check. After entering the interview room, please consciously provide your identity documents to the prison security police for security check.

Step 4 store the package. Please put valuables in the electronic locker to ensure the property safety of the interviewer.

5. queue up for registration. Please queue up at the registration window with your valid ID card to get the meeting documents.

6. parcel inspection. If you want to deliver the package to the prisoner after meeting with your family, please go to the designated window for inspection.

7. Wait for the call. Because it takes some time from the interview registration to the prisoner entering the interview room, please pay attention to the information on the electronic screen and wait patiently.

8. Confirmation meeting. After the prisoner arrives at the interview room, please ask the interviewer to give the interview documents to the police on duty in the interview room and enter the interview room.
