Uniqlo one to three interviews

Uniqlo’s one-to-three interviews

It took almost a month from online application to final interview. I prepared a lot of information, read the online interview several times, and I also After preparing a lot of questions and finishing all the interviews, success suddenly became less important. Let’s talk about the process first~

One side: November 12th

When I received the interview notice on the 7th, I was still confused. I kind of forgot that I was When did I apply? I was told to bring my resume from 51job, so I quickly logged in to 51job to check my resume. Before the interview, I learned that another girl from the class was also going, and they happened to be traveling together. As a result, we arrived an hour early and had an early interview.

Six people at a time. The interviewer was a man, and he was very gentle throughout the interview. When you looked at him, he would nod, and would say "hmm" from time to time to express his agreement, which instantly made me relax. Even the group case discussion made me feel relaxed. It feels like discussing in class, not nervous.

First, introduce yourself. I feel that the introductions given by some students are a bit scattered. I suggest you break them down into chunks. Don’t go into random sentences here and there. I’m not afraid of being short, but I’m afraid of being unorganized. After all, it’s the first impression.

Then case discussion, 20 minutes. 5 minutes for reading the materials, 15 minutes for discussion, and 4 minutes for one person to make a final statement. The case title is the same as what many people have said, a case of choosing a plan. One is UNIQLO cooperating with celebrities, and the other is cooperating with comic movies and the like to produce limited edition T-shirts. Let’s talk about which option to choose from the perspective of cost control. I originally thought it was a brainstorming discussion, but unexpectedly a girl said that we should talk in order. I felt a little surprised but did not raise any objection on the spot. I was the fifth person to speak. The first four people all chose stars, and the last girl and I chose comic book movies. Maybe because I was the first to come up with different plans, the interviewer showed a slightly surprised expression at first. I explained the reasons from four aspects, and he kept nodding in agreement.

After the discussion and presentation, we were asked a few more questions. 1. Which companies did you submit your resume to? What did you look for when choosing a company? 2. Why did you choose Uniqlo? 3. What qualities do you think a store manager should have? 4. Do you mind being dispatched across the country? These questions are all Relatively simple. But it must be organized, and it is best to list it out 1234 times so that he can hear it clearly.

Then it’s over. This round I am still relatively confident. The interview was completed on Saturday and I received a second text message on Wednesday morning.

Second meeting: November 20th

Also came very early, one hour in advance. I was waiting in a large conference room and had a great time chatting with the girl next to me. Probably one-third of the people waiting are boys.

As soon as we entered, there was a Japanese man and a translator. The Japanese name is Nishimura Masami. He is a regional manager. I didn’t introduce myself. As soon as I walked in, I said I was short of time. Let’s just talk about school majors. By the way, I think the school major is the most worthless information, doesn’t it mean that it doesn’t look at the hardware... We speak in the order of sign-in. I was the second one and not so nervous. The first boy could tell he was a little nervous. The two sides had completely different feelings. The Japanese almost didn't smile the whole time. The translator interrupted other people's speeches several times and said seriously, "Sorry, our question is..., can you please give a short answer? Sorry, I want to know." It's you..., not..., just say this. . . I'm thankful she didn't interrupt me, otherwise I would have panicked. .

In fact, I don’t think it’s necessary to meet in a group in this format. It only takes 15 minutes for one person to meet alone. Because after asking all the questions of one person, then ask another person, and then the next... everyone's backs are sore from sitting. . . Hey, back to the topic.

If you are not a student from Shanghai, let me first ask you when did you come to Shanghai, and then have you been to a Uniqlo store? How did it feel? If you are not a student in this major, I was asked why you didn’t choose a job in this major? Mine The problem is that you have a lot of practical experience. Choose one that impressed you the most and talk about what you learned from it. I have prepared this, so I said it. Then let me talk about what I am responsible for in the process. Everyone’s problems seem to be similar. He asked more questions about the last boy. That boy had sales internship experience in a famous company, so he was probably more awesome. Then end and say goodbye.

I thought there was no chance. As a result, it was Wednesday morning again, and three notices were received.

Three sides: December 1st

My heart sank when I saw the time. in the afternoon. It felt like the interviewer was sleepy and tired at that time. But you still have to face it. .

Arrived an hour early again--!. . I chatted with a few people in the room, waited for an hour or so, and then went in. I found out that it was not Mr. Li, but a Japanese named Kitagawa Kenichi or something. He is a store operations director. It was the same female translator on the second side...without introducing herself, she just asked questions.

I was interrupted twice while answering. But it was okay, I accepted it with a smile. I asked if I have ever been to a Uniqlo store. Then I asked the shop assistants and store managers who they had met, what they found most tiring in their work. Also, to be a store manager, you need to have management skills. Can you give me an example of your management skills and what are you responsible for there? Also, do you have any shortcomings that affect your ability to become a store manager? Do you want to correct them? How to correct them. Finally, I asked everyone if they had any questions and that was the end.

After coming out, everyone agreed that they had no questions to ask us. The three noodles were the worst I had ever had. The interviewer made me feel uncomfortable, like he was enduring something. . . Then it was over and I took my leave. .

That’s it after the interview. I heard that two-thirds of the people should be swiped on three sides. I didn’t feel much, other than feeling uncomfortable at the end. Being rejected doesn't mean you're not good, it just means you're not suitable. My classmate was rejected after the second interview. She is actually a very capable girl and her expressions are very logical. She is really not suitable for this company, but I believe she has a better choice. Their employment standards are too idealistic, and most of the interview questions are about values. Many students are very capable but cannot express themselves well, which is probably the main reason for rejection.

Although I don’t know the result, I don’t feel uneasy.

Give some advice to future generations.

When discussing a case, it is not necessary to grab the leader as mentioned in the previous interview. If you can’t grab the leader, grab the timekeeper. It's really not necessary. I am not a leader, nor am I a timer, and I have passed. What he values ??most is the logic when you speak, whether it is organized and whether there is a progressive relationship between several items. It doesn’t really matter who you are first to speak. Even if you say nothing when he first sees you, he will soon forget it. . .

Then it’s time to answer the questions and talk about the key points. Maybe they were really busy, and they were rushed by the translator on two or three occasions. Don't take it to heart if you are interrupted or something like that. Japanese people don't know what she is talking about. Just say sorry and continue to answer the question. The most important thing is not to talk nonsense, say the main points, and stop when you get to the point. It doesn’t mean that the more you speak, the more you will have a sense of presence. Talking too much made her feel verbose.

Also, smile as much as possible, smile even when your smile is frozen, and smile when you are thinking. Even when a Japanese person doesn't understand what he is saying, you should look at him and smile. . .

No more. .

I wish you all good luck with the offer!!~~~
