3. My Happy Spring Festival

After having dinner with my family, we began to sit in front of the TV and enjoy the 2008 CCTV Spring Festival Gala.

At about ten o'clock, the black sky was lit up by many fireworks, which gave off colorful lights and happy sounds. We stopped watching CCTV's Spring Festival Gala in 2008, and started to climb The Upper Terrace to see the beautiful fireworks. My father bought some fireworks and we started to play with them. What a beautiful night.

Later, my cell phone kept ringing. I received many short messages from my friends and classmates. They all wished me a happy new year. I gave them the same blessing and sent back happy words. Almost in the afternoon 12, I made a New Year's wish and began to sleep.

When I woke up on the first day of the new year, my parents gave me two red envelopes, wishing me that everything would be all right. I thanked them and accepted the red envelope happily. I have been waiting for the day when I can get a lot of red envelopes. This is the happiest time of my year.

After lunch, our whole family went to parks, streets, shops or supermarkets. We took a lot of photos in the park and bought a lot of things in shops or supermarkets. I met my uncle and aunt. They all wished us a happy New Year and gave me red envelopes. I am so happy that I can't count how many red envelopes I have received.

In the next few days, we visited my grandparents and some relatives. We talked with them happily, brought them some gifts and received some New Year gifts.
