How does PHS send text messages to mobile phones

Whether you are China Netcom's PHS or China Telecom's PHS, you can directly enter the other party's mobile phone number when sending short messages to China Mobile and China Unicom's local mobile phones. When sending short messages to mobile phones of China Mobile and China Unicom in other places, you need to add 0 before the mobile phone number, which is consistent with the method of making long-distance calls.

PHS users don't need to add the area code to send short messages to PHS on the local network, but need to add the long-distance area code to send short messages to PHS on the external network. Please note that the so-called "in-network" refers to the China Netcom network or China Telecom network, and the PHS messages of China Netcom and China Telecom are temporarily disconnected.

Important note: PHS messages of China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom (South) in China Netcom (North) area will not be interconnected for the time being; China Telecom (South), China Mobile, China Unicom and China Netcom (North) PHS are temporarily not interconnected.

The same is true for sending short messages from mobile phones to Netcom and PHS, just 106+ long distance area code+PHS number.
