What does the Cool Format data partition mean?

Formatting a data partition means deleting all data and files.

A data partition is a system disk that stores system files. Just like a computer is divided into disk C and disk D, disk C itself is only used to store the operating system, and disk D is used to store user data. In this way, if the C disk is broken or the D disk is broken, it will not affect each other.

To format a data partition:

Press and hold the phone power off key and volume+key to enter the recovery mode, select "Format Data Partition" through the volume key, and press the power key to confirm (enter the next interface).

Select "Yes" through the volume key, and confirm the operation of clearing the data in the data partition through the power key.

Return to the recovery mode menu, select "Format Cache Partition" by the volume key, and press the power key to confirm the operation of clearing cache partition data. Restart the phone when you are finished.
