How to set the ringtone of iPhone4

Step 1: Open iTunes software, find iTunes Edit-Preferences, check the ringtone item, and make the ringtone logo displayed in the left column; Select the iTunes Edit-Import setting, and if you use encoding, change it to AAC encoder. The first purpose is to display the ringtone bar in the iTunes sidebar and set the encoder.

Step 2: Set the songs to be used as ringtones.

The operation method is as follows: Open itunes, enter the music list, and find the song you want to play, such as Direct Answer. Double-click Play, and you can see that the playing time is displayed at the top of itunes, and the recording time is the climax of the ringtone, such as 1: 05- 1: 35. The ringtone file size of iphone cannot exceed 40 seconds. Right-click the name of the song that you want to ring, enter "Show Introduction", enter "Options" in the top label menu bar, enter the start time and stop time respectively, and then confirm.

Step 3: Return to the iTunes library interface, then right-click the song you just set and select "Create ACC Version". This step is to create a ringtone, and then a song with the same name in another format will appear below the song.

Step 4: Right-click the song and select "Show in windows Explorer" to view this file. At this time, please change the file suffix from m4a to m4r. Copy or cut and paste it into the desktop folder, and then add the ringtone file to the itunes music library through the File-Add File to Music Library function in the itunes menu, just like importing music files. At this time, the desired ringtone will appear in the ringtone bar in the library.

Step 5: Click the ringtone bar on the left side of itunes, click the iPhone device, check the sync ringtone and all ringtones in the navigation bar above, then click Sync to import the ringtones into the database, and then connect the mobile phone for synchronization. The last step is synchronization, so remember to choose the right option.

Step 6: Enter the iPhone page, select Settings-Sound-Ringtone, and select the set ringtone. Select the ringtone in the settings to complete the operation of changing the ringtone.

Note: Due to the limitation of Apple system, the bell should be controlled within 40 seconds.
