Why should the customs supplement the declaration?

Supplementary declaration according to the Customs Declaration Form for Import and Export Goods of People's Republic of China (PRC) Customs refers to the act that the consignee or consignor of import and export goods and the entrusted customs declaration enterprise need to use the supplementary declaration form to further declare to the customs the information needed to determine the dutiable price, commodity classification, origin and so on according to the requirements of relevant customs administrative regulations and rules. Supplementary declaration stipulated by the customs requires enterprises to make supplementary declaration to further determine the required information such as the dutiable price, commodity classification and origin of goods. Enterprises only need to fill in the supplementary declaration form truthfully and completely as required.
