How to set up Huawei split screen?

Please confirm your system version first: Open the phone settings and enter about the phone in the search box. On this page, you can view the system version of the device.

The use of split screen function requires both mobile phone hardware and application support. Please refer to the actual adaptation.

Screen splitting modes supported by each system version:

EMUI 8。 X: Support split screen of knuckles, press the nearest key, and slide up in two directions to split screen;

EMUI 9。 X: Support knuckle split screen, recent key press, multi-task page split screen and intelligent split screen;

EMUI 10.0: Support knuckle split screen, long press the nearest key split screen, multi-task page split screen and three-way sliding split screen;

Emui10.1/emui11.0/HarmonyOS System 2: Support application bar split screen.

The different split screen modes are as follows:

1. knuckles start split screen:

After opening the application that supports split screen, touch the screen with one finger joint and pause for a while, then drag the finger joint on the screen to start split screen.

In the vertical screen state, cross the screen with your knuckles; In landscape mode, scan the screen vertically. (This method can be used for models that only support knuckle gestures. )

2. Long press the recent key to start the split screen:

When using three-key navigation, after opening the application that supports split screen, press and hold the nearest key to start split screen.

3. Slide up with two fingers to start the split screen.

After opening the application that supports split screen, slide two fingers from the bottom of the screen to start split screen.

4. Three fingers sliding split screen:

Three fingers slide up from the phone screen and start to split the screen. To avoid accidental touch, please do not slide from the bottom edge of the screen.

5. Multi-task page segmentation screen:

Enter the multitasking page, then select the application that supports split screen, and click the split screen icon above the application to open split screen.

6. Intelligent split screen:

When watching a video in full screen, if you receive a message or message reminder, there will be a banner prompting split screen.

7. Side application column division screen:

After opening an application that supports split screen, slide the screen from outside to inside on the left or right side of the mobile phone screen, and pause to bring up the smart split screen application bar. Long press and drag the application icon in the application bar to the screen to open the split screen.

Warm reminder:

The EMUI 10. 1 split screen was renamed as "intelligent split screen", and the EMUI 1 1.0 split screen was renamed as "intelligent multi-window".

Intelligent split screen/intelligent multi-window exit mode: press and hold the separation line on the middle line of split screen, and drag it up and down or left and right until another window disappears.

Turn off smart split screen/smart multi-window completely: Please search for smart split screen/smart multi-window in the settings, and turn off the smart split screen application bar/smart multi-window application bar switch after entering.
