According to Article 98 of the Power Supply Business Rules, if the user fails to pay the electricity fee within the time limit stipulated by the power supply enterprise, he shall bear the liability for breach of contract for late payment. The penalty for electricity charges shall be calculated from the overdue date to the payment date. The daily electricity fine is calculated according to the following provisions:

1. Resident users are calculated at one thousandth of the total arrears every day;

2. Other users:

(1) The arrears of the current year shall be calculated at two thousandths of the total amount of arrears every day;

(1) The annual arrears are calculated at three thousandths of the total arrears every day.

The total amount of liquidated damages for electricity charges is accumulated on a daily basis. If the total amount is less than 1 yuan, it will be charged at 1 yuan. In the meantime, you can still use electricity normally; If the payment period has passed without payment, the power supply enterprise will collect it by SMS, email, telephone or on-site payment notice; If it has not been paid after collection, the arrears shall be cut off according to law.
