COVID-19 Vaccination Process for Teenagers in Shenzhen (Students in School)

COVID-19, an underage student in Shenzhen, aged 12- 17, was vaccinated mainly by centralized organization, supplemented by individual appointment vaccination. The city has set up a special vaccination session for students and organized vaccination according to schools. The general steps are school notification-filing in advance-vaccination.

First, special time arrangement.

The specific inoculation time shall be subject to the notice of the education department of each district.

Students aged between 15- 17

First vaccination period: July 30th-3rd1; The second vaccination session: August 2 1-23.

Students aged 12- 14

The first vaccination period: August 21-23; The second vaccination session: September 18- 19.

Second, the filing method

Mainland students can file their files through the official accounts of "Shenzhen Health and Wellness Committee", "Shenzhen CDC" and "Healthy Shenzhen", and don't make an appointment until the school informs them of the next vaccination arrangement.

Three, vaccination instructions

1. Students should bring their ID card or household registration book (either one or the other), student ID card or school registration certificate required by the school.

2. Provide the informed consent signed by the guardian, at least the name and ID number of one parent.

3. Avoid fasting and fatigue before vaccination. Please wear a mask, do personal protection, wear loose clothes and vaccinate in a relaxed state.

4. Vaccination should be accompanied by school staff.

5. Cooperate with the on-site vaccination staff to ask and truthfully inform their health status and vaccination contraindications.

6. Observe the inoculation site for 30 minutes after inoculation. If you feel unwell, please inform the observation site staff in time.
