How to apply for SMS authentication of ICBC?

SMS authentication refers to a transaction confirmation method in which you use SMS to cooperate with verification in the process of transaction confirmation using identity confirmation tools. After the SMS authentication function is enabled, e-banking customers will receive verification codes when they pay externally. ICBC provides you with functions such as self-service SMS verification, changing SMS verification mobile phone number, canceling SMS verification and setting SMS verification minimum.

Open process

1. If you have reserved your mobile phone number when registering online banking at the counter, you can log in to online banking and select SMS authentication under the security center column to enable this function.

2. If you didn't reserve your mobile phone number when registering online banking at the counter, you can apply for opening SMS authentication service at ICBC outlets with valid identity documents.
