Does Ford mustang have carplay?

The Ford mustang of Pacific Auto Network has carplay. The reason for configuring carplay is to be able to use all the functions of iPhone, including playing music, navigating, talking, reading short messages and even watching online videos.

The central control panel of Mustang supports carplay. The reason for configuring carplay is to be able to use all functions of iPhone, including playing music, navigating, talking, reading short messages and even watching online videos.

Many vehicles now support CarPlay, but many car owners know how to connect CarPlay. In fact, CarPlay car connection is very simple, and there are two methods: USB data cable and wireless connection.

CarPlay connection method:

1. If your vehicle supports connecting to CarPlay car via USB cable, please use USB cable to directly connect your iPhone to the USB port in the car.

2. if your vehicle supports wireless CarPlay, first turn on the bluetooth in the central control panel, then go to settings > general > CarPlay cars on the iPhone, tap available cars, and then select your car. Note that wireless CarPlay requires the phone to turn on WiFi and Bluetooth.

After the CarPlay car is connected, you can control the CarPlay car through Siri:

1. Press and hold the voice command button on the steering wheel. Then ask Siri a question or ask Siri to complete an operation.

2. Press and hold the CarPlay car home button on the dashboard or touch screen. Then ask Siri a question or ask Siri to complete an operation.

Carplay cannot connect.

1. First, confirm whether the data cable of the mobile phone is damaged or broken, and whether there are foreign objects attached to the metal contact terminals on the USB plug and the mobile phone plug or whether the surfaces are oxidized;

2. Check whether there is any damage inside the USB female socket of the external USBHUB of the vehicle-mounted host, and whether the contact metal piece can keep good contact with the USB male socket;

3. Check whether the connection between the vehicle-mounted host and the external USBHUB is loose. In order to avoid long-term oxidation which may lead to poor internal contact of the plug, the two plugs can be unplugged for many times;

4. Restore the factory settings of the on-board host system. Before restoring the factory settings, the important information saved by the system must be backed up and transferred to prevent it from being lost when restoring;

5. Restart the Iphone, then plug it in and try again.

If the above operation still doesn't solve the problem, insert the U disk with songs or videos into the USBHUB to see if you can read the data. If so, there is something wrong with the mobile phone. If it can't connect the USB flash drive directly to the host through the adapter, it is a USBHUB fault if it can read data, and a system host fault if it can't read data.
