You don't need to buy hardware in advance, but you can create any number of ECS instances of Cloud Server at any time according to your business needs. All resources involved in ECS, including instance specifications, block storage, mirroring, snapshots, bandwidth and security groups. You can configure your ECS resources through the Cloud Server Management Console or the Alibaba Cloud application.

1. Full administrative rights:

2. Snapshot backup and recovery:

Generate a snapshot of the disk data of the cloud server, and users can use the snapshot to roll back and restore the past disk data to strengthen data security;

For cloud servers with application software packages installed, it supports user-defined mirroring and batch creation of data disk snapshots, simplifying user management and deployment;

4. Have API interface:

Use ECSAPI to call management, and set access to one or more cloud servers through security group function, which is more convenient for development and use.

How does Alibaba Cloud server build a website?

Create an instance: after purchase, enter the management console and create a new instance in the cloud ESC. The operating system can be selected at will. CentOS6.364 Version 6.364 recommended by official website, you can also directly choose a mirror+application with good environment configuration in the mirror market. I chose WindowsServer8 here, because I am not familiar with the operation of this piece because I want to connect to the server remotely.

Remote connection to the server: the connection mode should be selected according to the local system and the server system. I am a windows remote connection of windows.

Building environment: according to your own needs and project requirements, build a server running environment. I bought the free environment (windows+mysql+apache+php+ some server software) in the mirror market, so I skipped this step.

Build a website: After the environment is configured, write a local website and put it in the directory of the server software website (htdocs in Apache).

Test the website: enter the IP address of the server in the address bar of the local browser to confirm the success of the example and website.

Buy a domain name: You can click on the domain name in Alibaba Cloud Management Console, click on the domain name registration, and write a domain name you want to register. First of all, it depends on whether to register, and then buy suffixes according to your own needs. You can consider (. Com) international domain.

Domain name resolution: after the domain name is purchased successfully, it needs to be resolved. In the management console, click the domain name, click the domain name resolution, and fill in the content of the resolution item according to the prompt.

Website filing: After the domain name resolution is successful, click on the URL and find that you still can't access the website. You will be prompted for the file. Register the account of Alibaba Cloud filing system, and prompt to upload materials as required. First of all, Alibaba Cloud will file a case for review, and I will call you within one working day. Submit it to the Administration after success, and I will call you within 5-20 days. I am lucky here, and I have completed the filing work twice in four days. The bureau will send you a short message with record number, account number, password and so on. Save this information and put the record number at the bottom of the website.

Completion: After successful filing, click the URL to enter your own website. Remember to take a snapshot of the instance at ordinary times.
