How to set ringtone in iOS10

Apple’s iOS system does not support the direct use of m3 and other audio files to set ringtones. Many friends don’t know how to set ringtones after upgrading to ios10. The method is as follows:

Setting methods/steps< /p>

1. Open the iTunes software in the device, then select the "File" option in the menu, and then select "Add files to library"

2. Select what you want to set as Ringtone song to turn on.

3. After selection, the song will appear in "Music" in "Library". Right-click the song and select "Show Introduction".

4. Select "Options", fill in the "Start Time" and "Stop Time" (within 40 seconds), and click "OK".

5. Right-click the song and select "Create ACC Version".

6. Files with the same file name but within 40 seconds appear.

7. Right-click the newly created song, select "Show in Windows Explorer", change the "m4a" format to "m4r", and select "Yes" in the pop-up window.

8. Check: Find "Preferences" in "Edit" in the "itunes" menu bar, open it, tick "Ringtones" in "Common" - "Source", and then "OK".

9. Then you can see the "Ringtone" option in the "Library". After opening it, you can see whether the file you just set has been converted into a ringtone.

10. Open "iphone" in "Devices", select "Ringtones", and check the "Sync Ringtones" item. Select All Ringtones, or Selected Ringtones, and then select Sync.

11. After the settings are completed, go to the device "Settings", open "Sounds" - "Ringtones" - "Customize", and then select the ringtone.
