What if Xiaomi 3 fails to get the SMS center number?

Xiaomi can't send SMS and get the center number.

My mobile phone is the youth version of Xiaomi 1 I just bought it and found that my short message can be received normally, but I can't send it. So I have some experience to share with you. This method theory can be applied to all versions of Xiaomi's mobile phones.

Confirm whether the mobile phone card is faulty.

Before setting, confirm whether your mobile phone card has any problems. You can put your mobile phone card in other brands of mobile phones and see if the short message can be sent normally. If there is no problem, you can perform the following steps.

Set SMS center number

SMS center setup steps:

SMS-Menu button-Settings-Advanced Settings-Set the number of SMS center.

The local center number can be called Unicom or mobile customer service, or Baidu. For example: Guangdong Shenzhen Mobile SMS Center "+86 13800755500".

Note: Figures vary from place to place, and so does Mobile Unicom.

Unable to set the number of SMS center.

If the message "Failed to get the SMS center number, please try again later" appears, as shown in the figure:

Press HOME to return to the desktop-Dialing panel-Enter "* # 4636 # * # *"-Mobile phone information-Enter in ——SMSC:

For example: "+86 * * * * * *", 145 (note: English quotation marks are required, and the * sign is the local center number).

Then click "Update".

(Or enter "+86 * * * * * * *" and click "Update". Click "Refresh" to display ".145", and then click "Update". )

Generally, there is no prompt after clicking. If "Error" is still prompted, you can ignore it, and even if it succeeds, an error may be displayed. Then try to send the message successfully.

(If you still can't send SMS, take off your mobile phone card, plug it into another mobile phone, and set the SMS center number. Try inserting the SIM card back into the phone again. )
