Is Longyan, Fujian developed?

Longyan is a third-tier city in Fujian province, and its economy is underdeveloped and not bad.

Longyan is a national gold and copper industrial base, a national demonstration base for special vehicles and emergency industries, and a national demonstration base for new industrialized industries in integration of defense and civilian technologies. We are building a green development base of rare earth industry and a development base of digital economy industry. Six major industries, including non-ferrous metals, machinery and equipment, cultural tourism and health care, new materials and new energy, and digital and characteristic modern agriculture, have initially taken shape.
