Four. Related requirements

(a) fully understand the purpose and significance of voluntary tree planting activities. Voluntary tree planting is the legal obligation of every citizen of school age, and it is one of the important ways to mobilize all social forces to participate in greening construction and strive to improve the ecological environment. All localities and departments should further promote the new fashion of tree planting civilization, and take various forms such as tree planting labor, doing it by capital, donating money to plant green, recognizing construction and adoption, and fully promote the development of voluntary tree planting activities.

(2) Prepare the site. All responsible units of voluntary tree planting sites should intensify their work, make preparations for land preparation, seedlings and tools in advance, and ensure the smooth progress of voluntary tree planting activities. At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen the follow-up maintenance management to ensure the survival and absence of planted seedlings.

(3) Strengthen the activity guarantee. Meilizhou District Voluntary Tree Planting Service Center should strengthen service guarantee to ensure the safe and orderly activities of all carriers. The organization and development of related activities should report to the District Forestry Water Affairs Bureau and the District Greening Office in a timely manner, and do a good job in information release and reporting.

(4) Increase publicity. Towns and streets should use newspapers, television, internet, publicity windows and other platforms to publicize the significance of voluntary tree planting in combination with festivals and carrier designs such as World Wetland Day, Arbor Day and Ecological Day, and call on all sectors of society to actively participate in voluntary tree planting activities to create a good atmosphere of "love, protect and plant green" for the whole people. The specific publicity plan shall be formulated separately by the District Greening Office according to this activity plan, and the district-level news media shall be invited to give strong support and cooperation.

The second part of the voluntary tree planting program is to further promote the development of the "one big and four small" afforestation project in our city, improve the city's taste, and welcome the provincial games with a beautiful environment. After research, it was decided to organize municipal government officials and representatives from all walks of life to carry out a nationwide voluntary tree planting activity during the Arbor Day.
