2. First, connect Xiaomi 1 to pea pods (I suggest registering a pea pods account), and select Backup on the main page of pea pods.

2. If you have an account, you can choose cloud backup, which means you can restore it anywhere. If you choose to back it up to your computer, you can only restore it on the computer you backed up (Figure 2).

3. After clicking Backup to Cloud or Computer, it will appear (Figure 3). There are three files that can be backed up, one is the phone number of the contact, the other is the short message, and the other is the program. I want to say here that program backup is just to back up the program directory in your original mobile phone, and later recovery is equivalent to downloading it for you according to the directory. If all the records in the program are not lost, it is equivalent to downloading a new one.

According to the location of the project you need to back up, I personally suggest that you only back up contacts and text messages. It's no use applying. You can select a backup by clicking Advanced Options.

5. After confirmation, you can click Backup.

6. After the backup is completed, exit Mi 1 and use pea pods to visit Mi3 to select recovery.

7. This is the same as when backing up. If you are backing up and restoring in the cloud, please choose to restore from the cloud. If you backed up on your computer, please select Restore on your computer.

8. After selecting the cloud or computer recovery, there will be recoverable data. According to the time you want to recover, select a data you want to recover (if there are multiple backups before, there will be multiple records), and then wait for the recovery to be completed. The text messages and contacts of your previous Mi 1 will be in Mi 3 mobile phone.
