This project encourages students to reduce the use of paper greeting cards, arouse students' awareness of conservation and environmental protection, use fruits to replace paper greeting cards, achieve the goal of reducing cards and saving trees, and provide students with an interactive experience through the national joint school "Fruit for Greeting Cards" activity. Send gifts, convey green romance and green gratitude blessings, and bring different holiday surprises to students. At present, "Fruit for Greeting Cards" has become the "finale" festival activity at the end of the year in colleges and universities across the country with the largest coverage, the largest scale of colleges and universities, and the highest student participation.

3. Run for the finless porpoise: The Huangshi finless porpoise long-distance running team set out from Yichang carrying the finless porpoise symbol and went down the river. Long-distance running relays were carried out in important cities and finless porpoise reserves along the Yangtze River between Yichang and Shanghai at different times. Through a series of activities such as "speaking about finless porpoises, writing about finless porpoises, and visiting finless porpoises", people in the entire basin are mobilized to participate in protecting the Yangtze River and saving finless porpoises. This event will call on governments at all levels along the Yangtze River to take strong measures (promulgate relevant policies) to mitigate the threats to finless porpoises caused by various human activities, thereby promoting the introduction of practical protection measures at the national level. The Green Boat Environmental Protection Association will also advocate for everyone to work together to protect the finless porpoise through many forms, such as placing spots in the cafeteria to collect signatures of "Pray for Finless Porpoise", and holding long-distance running relay events such as "I Run for Finless Porpoise" at various places in Wuhan University!

4. Earth Hour: "Earth Hour" aims to hope that people can resist environmental problems such as global warming through a small change. This year's theme is "I am a green V customer, choose one of the seven environmental protection". Choose your own day in the week and start taking action on this day of each week. It can be eating more vegetables, reusable bags, not driving, Bring your own chopsticks, don’t leave any food left, speak out about your love for animals, go outdoors and give up your house, etc. Persevere and be a responsible person who cares for the earth. The Green Boat Environmental Protection Association’s Earth Hour has received strong support from school students and school leaders, and has been actively followed and reported by major media inside and outside the school, including Yangtze Business Daily, Wuhan Morning News, Wuhan Evening News, Jingchu.com, Young Eagle Online, and Wuhan University Bao, Luojia’s Voice, Ziqiang.com, etc.

5. 15th Anniversary Celebration: Wuhan University Green Boat Environmental Protection Association was established on September 30, 1998. By 2013, after fifteen years, it has gradually grown and has become a school-level association many times. Top Ten Societies, long-term cooperation with Wuhan Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau, World Wildlife Fund (WWF), Hong Kong Friends of Nature, China Environmental Protection Foundation, etc., to promote the ideas and theories of sustainable development to college students and more ordinary people, and Green Boat is now registered as a member of Youth Network under UNEP (United Nations Environment Program).

In order to celebrate the 15th anniversary, in early October we invited school leaders and teachers who have always cared about and guided us, representatives of environmental protection groups from other schools, and all Green Boat people to celebrate the 15th anniversary.

6. Resist disposable tableware: In an era where the pace of life is accelerating, disposable tableware has entered every corner of our lives due to its convenience and speed. However, we rarely think about what we enjoy. This convenience comes at a price. As an environmental protection organization, Green Boat helps college students better understand the dangers of disposable tableware through publicity, research and other activities, and while protecting their own health, they can also contribute to environmental protection.

7. Bag DIY: Environmentally friendly Luojia, poetic life! The Green Boat Environmental Protection Association has been committed to promoting the use of cloth bags instead of plastic bags. During the annual cherry blossom season, "Bud Bag DIY" has gradually become a fixed activity of the association. This event is closely integrated with the "Reusable Bag Tuesday" one of the changes advocated by "Earth Hour 2013 - I Become a Green V Guest". It aims to enhance tourists' sense of participation in environmental protection and mobilize tourists by allowing them to participate in novel and interesting bag DIY activities. Creativity and enthusiasm, thereby enhancing people's environmental awareness, achieving the goal of promoting the use of cloth bags, reducing white pollution, and better caring for the environment.

8. "Exchanging customers": let resources flow and let green last forever! Exchange means taking out your unused items and exchanging them with others for things that are still useful. The "guest exchange" activity for college students, led by Wuhan University Green Boat Environmental Protection Association, aims to realize the exchange of idle items among college students and create a conservation and environmentally friendly campus life atmosphere. Bartering is a new way of life in a frugal society. Resources can be mobilized more reasonably and at lower cost, making the best use of them. Exchange is not only fashionable, but also a low-carbon way and environmentally friendly spirit!

9. "Discovering the Beauty of Nature" Photography Exhibition: Love nature, love home. This event is the first plant-related event held by the Department of Animal and Plant Conservation, and it lasts long and covers a wide range of areas. By collecting and exhibiting natural photography photos, photography enthusiasts and nature lovers can pay attention to, discover and communicate about the natural beauty of Wuhan University. By popularizing plant knowledge, everyone can understand the rich natural resources on campus and spontaneously develop a desire to protect the natural environment.

10. Summer social practice survey (investigating the use and recycling of paper in Wuhan): In order to better understand the production, use and recycling of paper in Wuhan, the practice team contacted various departments in Wuhan Large paper companies, Yichang Forestry Bureau (planted forest), waste treatment plants and Wuhan Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau are working hard to investigate the use and recycling of paper.

11. Recycle old batteries: Recycle batteries and return to green. This activity is carried out not only to recycle used batteries, but also to spread environmental protection knowledge through our publicity, improve students' awareness of environmental protection, and enable college students to take action in reducing pollution. Based on this, this year, while emptying the waste battery recycling bins, the 3R Department also promoted waste battery recycling knowledge online.

12. Wuhan University pollution map production: pollution map → Wuhan map → green map. "Wuhan University Pollution Map" is an activity dedicated to discovering environmentally unfriendly and polluted places on the Wuhan University campus. Regarding these phenomena, we decided to no longer be spectators, but to be practitioners, so we decided to visit every corner of Wuhan University to find out where these cancers were, draw a pollution map, and report it to the school's logistics department. Solve these non-environmentally friendly messes, return Wuhan University to a clean and tidy area with green mountains and green waters, and turn the dirty map into a green map!

13. Fun sports meeting: green mood, fun in the same boat! October is about to leave, and you are here - the Green Games! We gathered together because of the same concept - green and environmental protection. We went crazy and made trouble together in this event. With the excitement of the party and the hard work, we gather for a better earth and strive for a greener future! 1.
