The circular requires that all localities should continue to expand the scope of detection on the basis of early detection of samples of imported seafood and market environment, so as to achieve full coverage of COVID-19 detection 100% of large-scale markets and their stall environments and imported seafood varieties.

Inspection of imported seafood. Collect at least 1 sample for each type of imported seafood engaged in imported seafood stalls, and collect at least 5 imported seafood samples for each stall.

Environmental inspection of commercial stalls. All stalls dealing in imported seafood in the market collect environmental samples for testing, mainly including refrigerator, chopping board, product packaging surface, trash can surface, sink, floor drain surface, door handle surface and so on. Market environment. All wholesale markets and large supermarkets selling imported seafood shall be tested for external environmental samples, mainly including toilets, garbage bins, transport vehicles, transport boxes, surfaces of sewer floor drains, ground sewage, surfaces of door handles, etc., and no less than 20 environmental samples shall be collected from each market.

The circular requires that the leading groups of all cities should formulate detailed work plans for nucleic acid detection, strengthen financial guarantee and complete the detection work in strict accordance with the requirements. Specimens from the same booth and the same market can be mixed with multiple specimens to speed up the detection. If the detection task of CDC is overloaded, it may entrust a third-party detection agency to detect it.

All sampling and testing tasks should be completed before June 25th.
