How to set up SOS emergency contact on OPPO mobile phone

SOS emergency contact is really important, come and set it up!

SOS emergency contact is designed to provide you with a more convenient service to dial emergency numbers and send help messages when an emergency occurs.

ColorOS 12.1 and above: Go to "Settings > SOS Emergency Contact (Emergency)", select the item you want to turn on and click it, read the instructions and agree to allow the turned on item to use location information and SMS permissions.

For versions below ColorOS 12.1: Go to "Settings > Security (Password and Security) > SOS Emergency Contact" and click to turn it on, read the instructions and agree to allow "SOS Emergency Contact" to use location information and SMS permissions.

1. SOS emergency contact - emergency call

ColorOS 5.2 and above

Press the power button for emergency call: After turning it on, you can connect in an emergency Press the power button 5 times to make an SOS emergency call.

Emergency contact numbers: You can add contacts in the call history or address book as "My Emergency Contacts" (no more than 3).

Automatically dial the public emergency (default) number: Select one of 110, 119 and 120 as the default number. When using SOS emergency contact, a 3S countdown will be performed. If you do not operate before the countdown ends, Automatically dial the default number.

Play warning tone before dialing: After turning on this function, a warning tone will be played before dialing the emergency number.

(Automatically) Send help text messages: You can choose to send environmental photos and send 5-second environmental recordings.

ColorOS 7 and above

Intelligent customer service for help: After turning on this function, when you initiate SOS emergency help, the intelligent customer service will contact the emergency contact through a voice call.

ColorOS 11 and above

Alarm assistance: After turning it on, when you press the power button repeatedly to call the police on the emergency call page (110, 119, 120, 122), the location information will be sent to Public emergency service platform. (The activated cities are updated every month and are promoted by partners.)

2. SOS Emergency Contact-Natural Disaster Warning

ColorOS 7.2 and above: Earthquake warning is supported in some areas A half-screen card reminder pops up (flash/vibration/volume broadcast regardless of mute, etc.) and the notification stays for 5 minutes. During this period, the stay notification cannot be cleared.

ColorOS 11 and above: supports manually triggering the flash SOS signal again/buzzing for help/viewing detailed hazard avoidance guides/jumping emergency calls/searching for nearby emergency shelters/pop-up medical information.

Warm reminder:

① Earthquake early warning services are currently provided in some areas within the coverage area of ??the Mainland Earthquake Early Warning Network.

② Factors affecting receiving earthquake early warning:

a. When the estimated earthquake magnitude is greater than 2.0, the mobile phone will have pop-up windows, vibrations, broadcasts, and bright screen reminders, and when the estimated earthquake magnitude is less than 2.0 of no prompts. In ColorOS 12 and above systems, the earthquake magnitude at your location is less than 2.0. If you need prompts, please turn on "Prediction" in "Settings > (Password and Security) > SOS Emergency Contact (Emergency) > (Natural Disaster Warning)" "Notify a reminder when the intensity is less than 2.0".

b. Did you turn on mobile phone positioning when the earthquake occurred? If you did not turn on positioning, you will not receive earthquake warning information.

c. Your network conditions when an earthquake occurs. If the network is not turned on, you will not receive earthquake warning information.

d. If the earthquake occurs at night, turn on the sleep mode (sleep standby optimization), the system will intelligently determine the sleep scene, and let the phone run with low power consumption (such as turning off the network) during sleep to save power. The effective time of "sleep mode (sleep standby optimization)" is generally from 0 am to 6 am. The entry condition is that the phone is not used or moved during this time period. It is recommended that you turn off the "Sleep Mode (Sleep Standby Optimization)" switch to ensure timely arrival of earthquake messages.

3. SOS Emergency Contact - Embassy Consular Protection

ColorOS 11 and above

Embassy Consular Protection: For overseas students, business travelers, and tourists, In an emergency, dial the local embassy’s consular protection number with one click. (Currently only the 24-hour global consular protection number service of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is provided.)

4. SOS emergency contact-first aid information

ColorOS 11 and above< /p>

First aid information: Complement the local storage of your medical information input device to support outgoing call use by others in emergency scenarios.

(1) Enter the medical emergency card in the SOS emergency contact settings, and support hiding the displayed name.

(2) Supports clicking to call out on the emergency call page and earthquake warning card by pressing the power button repeatedly.

ColorOS 12.1 and above

Before using the "Medical Emergency Information" function in emergency dialing, you need to first go to "Settings > SOS Emergency Contact (Emergency) > (SOS ) > Medical Information" to create your own medical emergency information. There will then be a button for medical information on the emergency dial. Click to view your own medical information.

5. Help gadget

ColorOS 11 and above:

In the SOS emergency call page, the SOS frequency flash signal and buzzer sound effects are added To call for help and emergency information, press the power button 5 times and perform related operations at the bottom of the SOS emergency call page.

Click the "X" in the upper left corner to exit the SOS emergency contact interface.
