Legal basis: Article 19 of the Provisions on Procedures for Handling Illegal Acts of Road Traffic Safety in People's Republic of China (PRC). Within 10 days from the date when traffic technology monitoring equipment collects records of illegal acts, the traffic management department of the public security organ in the place where the illegal acts occurred shall review the records and enter them into the road traffic violation information management system as evidence of illegal acts. The traffic administrative department of the public security organ shall strictly examine the contents of the records of illegal acts collected by traffic technical monitoring equipment and improve the review procedures.
