Bank of Guangzhou is a joint-stock commercial bank controlled by the Guangzhou Municipal Government. Its predecessor was Guangzhou Urban Cooperative Bank, which was established on September 17, 1996 on the basis of 46 urban credit cooperatives. Later it was renamed Guangzhou Commercial Bank Co., Ltd. According to inquiries, the daily limit for account transfers signed by Guangzhou Bank’s mobile banking is 200,000 yuan.
