Crab card fraud mode

In this scam, criminals deliver hairy crab exchange cards, wet wipes, mobile phone stands and so on. On a large scale, and on the grounds of receiving the prize, guide the victims to scan the code into the group.

In this scam, the scammer will ask the public to download the application to start the task of swiping the bill. In the early stage, he will use a little kickback to gain the trust of the victims. Later, he will ask the victim not to return the principal and rebate after a large recharge, and finally complete the fraud.

Develop the habit of being vigilant, don't trust strangers easily, and be cautious about phone calls, text messages, emails and social media messages from unknown sources. Always remind yourself: "If something is too good to be doubted, it may be a trap".

2. Protect personal information

Don't disclose personal information at will, especially important information such as bank account number, password and ID number. Don't send this information to others through non-encrypted channels such as SMS and social media. Change your password regularly and make sure it is complex enough to be difficult to crack.

3. Beware of online transactions

When shopping online, choose a regular and well-known shopping website to understand the seller's reputation and product evaluation. Use safe payment methods, such as credit cards or third-party payment platforms, and avoid direct use of high-risk methods such as bank transfer.
