Letter writing format

Letter is a way of contact passed down from ancient times. When we were young in the 1980s, we were still popular in writing letters. I remember that I even wrote a few As for your pen pal, you can hardly see the mailbox now, and even forget to write when you pick up your pen. So, do you still have some memory of writing letters? Format of a letter

(1) Title

When writing a letter, first write the addressee’s title in the first line, and then Add a colon after it to indicate that there is something to say below. Here, we have to decide based on the relationship between the writer and the recipient. You can also add modifying words such as "respected" and "missing you" before the "title" to express some of your feelings for the recipient.

(2) Greetings

The greetings should be written on the next line after the title, leaving two spaces blank. It can stand on its own as a paragraph. If the recipient of the letter is an elder, you can write "Hello"; or "How are you?" etc.; if the recipient of the letter is our commoner, you can write "Hello"; if the recipient is not a person, usually write "How do you do" or "Hello everyone" must not be written as "Hello you" ("you" cannot be added after "you").

(3) Text

The text is generally divided into three parts: connector, main text, and summary. Each section should begin on a new line, leaving two spaces blank. This is the main part of the letter. You must write down what you want to tell the other party directly and clearly, and you must write your true feelings.

(4) Congratulations

Congratulations are words that express tribute or congratulations, such as "Sincerely", "Blessings", etc. It can be written immediately following the main text, or it can be written on its own line with two blank spaces. In addition, when writing words of wishes such as "salute" and "health" that match "sincerely" and "wishes", it is generally necessary to write in a separate line at the top.

(5) Signature

After writing the letter, write the name of the sender in the lower right corner of the letter, which is called signature. In front of the signature, a suitable title is usually added, such as "classmate", "friend", etc.

(6) Date

The date of sending the letter can be written after the name or on a new line. The year, month and day should be written clearly (it would be a mistake not to write the year) for future reference by the recipient.
