The pre-litigation notification text message is not true. Pre-litigation notices will be given in written form and will not be given by text message. Notifications via SMS can easily lead to fraud incidents. Therefore, China does not advocate SMS notification.

If you are sued by the court, no SMS notification will be sent. It is illegal to notify the person being sued by calling or sending text messages, and the court will not serve the summons using illegal service methods.
