The so-called solving a case refers to the process that the public security and procuratorial organs with investigation responsibilities investigate suspected criminal cases in accordance with the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Law. In principle, when the public security and procuratorial organs transfer the criminal suspect to prosecution after the investigation, the investigation stage should be ended. As for the closure of the whole criminal case, it can only be considered closed after the criminal judgment of the people's court takes legal effect.
