Ma Lihua, female, born in Jinan, Shandong Province, is from Pizhou, Jiangsu Province. Party member, CPC. 1976 graduated from the Chinese Department of Shandong Linyi Normal University (now Linyi University), and 1990 graduated from the writers' class of Chinese Department in Peking University. A first-class writer and editor, he is currently the editor-in-chief of China Tibetology Publishing House.

The collection and writing of Journey to the North of Tibet, Westbound Ali, Soul Like the Wind (revised edition in 2007) and Red Mountain in East Tibet spanned twenty or thirty years, which showed the natural and cultural scenery of several representative areas in this highland of the world extensively and deeply.
