Fraudulent SMS. When you call a landline or mobile phone in China from Hongkong, the general caller ID is "00852- an area code-a local number".

In the actual display, there may be no "-"symbol in the middle, but all numbers, or there may be no zeros in front, only 1 zeros or more than two zeros.

For example: 00852XXXXXXXX, 852XXXXXXXX, 0852XXXXXXXX, 000852XXXXXXXX；; If the caller ID starts with 008520, 00852 1, 008522, 008523, 008524, 008525, 008526, 008527, 008528, 008529, it generally means that the international area code is 00852.

The last one is Hong Kong No.1; If you call China via Internet phone or IP phone in Hongkong, the caller ID may not see the source of the call, and you can't call back directly.

The received SMS messages are different, but the specific fraud steps are basically the same:

1. The victim will receive a short message from an overseas number starting with 00852 or +852.

2. The content of the scam message is "Your bank credit card is frozen due to overdue repayment".

3. Knowing that "the card was frozen", the victim dialed the "customer service phone number" beginning with 400 according to the content provided by the short message.

Once the "customer service phone" is dialed, the victim will be recruited. At this time, fraudsters will first check the victim's card number and password through Hisense, and then naturally defraud the victim's SMS verification code.

Once you have these three magic weapons, the swindler can easily steal the money from the victim's card.
