China Information and Communication Research Institute

China Institute of Information and Communication (china academy of telecommunication research, China Institute of Information and Communication for short), formerly known as the Institute of Posts and Telecommunications Science of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (founded in 1957), was formally established in 1994. Now it is a scientific research institution directly under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and is the most important supporting unit of the country in the field of information and communication (ICT) and the main supporting unit in the field of comprehensive policies of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

Over the past 50 years, with the development and reform of the information and communication industry, the Institute has continuously accumulated experience in development strategy, independent innovation, industrial policy, industry management, planning and design, technical standards, testing and certification, and improved its capabilities. On May 13, 2020, as the first initiator, we launched the "Digital Transformation Partnership Action" in conjunction with the National Development and Reform Commission and other departments.

On April 27th, 20021year, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions awarded it the National Worker Pioneer.
