Is Zhejiang Health Code Universal in Zhejiang Province?

Yes, the health codes of Huzhou, Jinhua, Lishui, Ningbo, Quzhou, Shaoxing, Taizhou, Wenzhou, Zhoushan, Hangzhou and Jiaxing have been launched.

As the birthplace of health code, Zhejiang took the lead in realizing the coverage of health code in the whole province. In Jiangsu, Suzhou "Suzhou City Code" was launched on Alipay on February 23, becoming the first city in Jiangsu Province to fully launch digital health codes. Since then, health codes in Nanjing, Wuxi, Changzhou, Nantong and Zhenjiang have been launched one after another. On February 29th, emergency headquarters, the epidemic prevention and control center of Hefei, issued a notice, requesting to promote the use of Ankang Code (Hefei) in the whole city from now on. At present, Anhui Health Code has been launched in more than ten cities in Hefei, Fuyang and Anqing.

In fact, before the mutual recognition of health codes was fully carried out in the Yangtze River Delta, some cities had begun to take the lead in exploring the inter-provincial mutual recognition mechanism through certificates. February 19, Yangtze River Delta Integration Demonstration Zone, Qingpu District of Shanghai, Wujiang District of Jiangsu and Jiashan County of Zhejiang recognized each other. According to the relevant notice, the border inspection stations in the three places can pass through the area after verifying that the identity of the people coming and going is correct and their body temperature is normal, so there is no need to register repeatedly, saving the transit time, treating them as local residents, and there is no need to take isolation measures.

It has been noted that before the mutual recognition of health codes in the Yangtze River Delta, Zhejiang has successively reached mutual recognition agreements with many domestic provinces to facilitate the return of migrant workers to Zhejiang.

On February 28th, Zhejiang and Henan signed a cooperation agreement on mutual recognition of "health code". People who hold the "health code" of the other province can refer to the "health code" rules of this province, give bright codes or implement relevant control measures to improve the convenience of inter-provincial travel during the epidemic prevention and control period. The signing of this agreement gave a green light for Henan workers to return to Zhejiang to resume work.

On February 29th, Hainan Big Data Administration reported that Hainan and Zhejiang provinces signed the first cooperation agreement on mutual recognition of health codes for epidemic prevention and control in novel coronavirus on February 28th. The two provinces will follow the principle of "interoperability of mechanisms, mutual recognition of rules and data sharing", and realize mutual recognition of "health codes" for epidemic prevention and control in the two provinces through technical upgrading and fine-tuning of mechanisms around scenes such as returning to work, inter-provincial travel and grass-roots control, so as to improve the convenience of inter-provincial travel in epidemic prevention and control.

According to China Youth Daily, as of March 1 day, Hunan and Sichuan have also recognized the "health code" for epidemic prevention and control in Zhejiang Province as the legal health certificate of migrant workers, opening a green channel for local migrant workers to work in Zhejiang. Together with the three provinces and one city in the Yangtze River Delta, Zhejiang Health Code has been recognized in at least eight provinces and cities in China.
