How to set the application lock Huawei?

Take Huawei P40 mobile phone as an example:

First, enable application locks.

Go to Settings > Security > Application Lock > Open, set the application lock password, and select the locked application.

If the face or fingerprint has been set to unlock, you can also associate the application lock with the face or fingerprint according to the pop-up prompt, and enter the application by brushing the face or fingerprint.

Tip: Not all products support the fingerprint function, please refer to the actual situation.

Second, turn on the intelligent protection function of the application lock.

Set an application lock for private applications. After associating faces, the mobile phone will automatically start the intelligent protection function of the application lock. When the face changes (such as the scene used by others), the application that has exited will be automatically locked, and the owner's identity needs to be re-verified before entering. This function is better when the light is good.

Please select one of the following methods to associate the face with the application lock to enable the smart protection function of the application lock:

1. If the mobile phone has set the face unlocking function, you can associate faces according to the prompt in the pop-up box when opening the application lock, and the intelligent protection function of the application lock will be automatically opened.

2. If the phone is not set with the face unlocking function, you can enter Settings >; Biometrics and passwords >; Face recognition, according to the prompt to enter the face recognition interface. Then turn on the access application lock switch to associate the face with the application lock.

Third, change the application lock password or secret protection.

Enter the application lock setting interface, click the gear icon > password type, and you can re-select the screen lock password or user-defined password as the application lock password.

If you choose a custom password, you can continue to modify the custom password and custom password protection.

Fourth, cancel or close the application lock.

Enter the application lock setting interface, please do any of the following:

1. Unlock application: In the locked application list, turn off the switch at the end of the application that needs to be unlocked.

2. close the application lock: click the gear icon > close the application lock > reset. This action will cancel the application lock of all applications and clear all data of the application lock.
