Personally, I think your company may be inexperienced and cheated by customers. It may be that the other issuing bank is not standardized. In fact, you should also ask the shipping company or freight forwarder whether the ship has arrived at the destination port and whether the goods have been taken away. If so, you may lose. . .

Secondly, there is another possibility. You are the buyer, you applied for a letter of credit, but the other seller has paid, but the issuing bank has not paid, and the applicant has sent you a demand notice. In fact, if you are a buyer, you should be an applicant, and the bank should ask you for money with the bill before paying the other party. This possibility seems to contradict what you said. . .
