Special instructions:

Students and children under the age of 16 who don't have ID cards can add family account activation and electronic medical insurance certificate to the national medical insurance service platform "Medical Insurance family account" by their parents.

2. When can I use the electronic medical insurance card?

Scenario 3: Personal account of employee medical insurance for family use.

First, use the employee medical insurance card personal account fund to pay medical expenses for parents, children and spouses. If employees are insured, they can contact the medical insurance electronic certificate of their parents, children, spouses and other close relatives through the official account of "Qingdao Medical Insurance" WeChat or the APP of "National Medical Insurance Service Platform", and use the funds in the personal medical insurance account to pay the medical expenses of parents, children and spouses.

Second, residents' medical insurance contributions can be deducted from employees' personal accounts.
