How to import backup mobile text messages to Apple mobile phone

Import text messages to iPhone (not jailbroken):

On an Android phone, use software to export and back up the text messages in the phone. Note that the backup file format suffix must be .csv.

If you don’t know what software to use, here is a recommended name called "SMS Backup", which can be found in the Android market. (I have tried many of them, and no matter how good the reviews are, they are not good. They are not in English. The version cannot export this format)

Export a backup file from the Android phone and it will be stored in the phone. Connect the phone to the computer, find and copy the "XXX.csv" just exported to the computer.

Open the itools that I installed before, connect to the iPhone, under the left column, there is "Information Management", after selecting it, there will be labels such as address book, text messages, etc. on the right, select text messages-- Export

(Here, there must be at least one text message before it can be exported. It is possible that there is no text message in the iPhone, so you can just send a text message to 10086, and then you will receive its reply, so that in your iPhone There are at least 1 or 2 text messages)

The text message files exported to the iPhone are still suffixed with ".csv"

There are now two text message backup files, from the Android phone The exported "XXX.csv" and the "AAA.csv" exported from the iPhone. What needs to be done is to copy the contents of XXX.csv to AAA.csv.

Open the two files with excel tables and pay attention to the contents of the AAA.csv table. PhoneNumber (phone number), DateCreated (creation time), Content (content), Type (type), State (state) This format cannot be changed.

At the same time, open XXX.csv with a table and observe the content. It may be garbled. I encountered such a situation, but my computer has Kingsoft’s wps installed and can also open the table. So I first opened XXX.csv with wps. The display was normal and there was no garbled code, and then I saved it. At this time, there should be no problem opening it in excel. Of course, you can perform the copy operation in wps first, and then do the remaining steps in excel after everything is completed. Let me introduce the latter method I use.

In the wps table, open XXX.csv, according to the content of the title at the top of the AAA.csv table, select an entire column of the corresponding content in XXX.csv, and paste it under the title of AAA.csv. For example, in XXX.csv, select a column of phone numbers to copy, and then in AAA.csv, select the blank cell under the PhoneNumbe column and paste it. DateCreated (creation time) and Content (content) use the same operation, Type (type), State (state) Because input is more troublesome, it is recommended to copy all the original content recv and read, (accepted and read), which is the default all The text messages are all sent by the other party, and other contents that are not in the AAA.csv table are not required.

In addition, the XXX.csv table may separate the date and time. When I could only choose one of the two, I chose to copy the date. As for the time, I will mention it later

Under the phone number column in the table, slightly longer numbers are converted into scientific notation, so to change it, select the phone number column, right-click--Format Cells--Number--Customize--Select "0 "--OK, you can see the normal number.

Select the date and time column, right-click--Format Cells--Number--Customize, you will see a space under "Type (T)" to display the currently selected content, in this Re-enter "yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss;" in the blank box and you will see that the time column in the table changes to something like "2014-02-27 12:00:00"

Save the file as, select "CSV (All Separated) (*.csv)" to save as type. WPS will pop up a prompt, just click yes. Save the name as you like, such as "ABC.csv". Close the spreadsheet software ( Required)

Open ABC.csv with Notepad, and then save it as. Under the save as interface, there is an encoding, change it to UTF-8, change the save type to "All Documents", and then save it.

At this point, the modification of the iPhone text message backup has been completed. The following is to restore from the backup. Open itools, select the toolbox on the left column, and then select iTunes Backup Management-----Create Backup on the right< /p>

Double-click to open the backup you just created, select SMS, you can see a file "sms.db", double-click to open, continue to select, import - import CSV file, find the ABC.csv you just saved to import. It will show that the import was successful. Some errors may occur here, such as a prompt that it cannot be imported, or there is no response after clicking. These are all due to errors in the above steps, mainly because the format and content of the table must be completely correct. It is recommended to go back and check.

After the import is successful, click Save on the text message page ← Remember. This completes the modification of the iPhone backup. Then restore to the iPhone

Go back to the previous toolbox, click Restore from Backup, select the backup you just modified, and click OK. Then the reading will start, the phone will restart, and then you're done! (At this time, there may be a prompt that cannot be restored, so remember to 1. Turn off the phone lock screen password 2. Turn off "Find my iPhone" in iould. It is recommended that when moving text messages, you first directly turn on all functions of iould on the iphone. Disable them all, wait until the backup is restored, and then turn them on after restarting the phone)
