Where is the land of lemons

The hometown of lemon is Anyue County, Sichuan Province, and the planting scale and fresh fruit output account for more than 70% of the country. Lemon belongs to Citrus genus of Rutaceae in dicotyledonous plants, which can also be called lemon fruit, foreign lemon, beneficial mother fruit and so on.

Lemon is warm, shade-tolerant, cold-resistant and heat-resistant, and is suitable for cultivation in subtropical areas with warm winter and cool summer. The suitable annual average temperature of lemon is 17- 19℃. Suitable for planting in warm gentle slopes with deep soil layer and good drainage. The optimum soil pH for lemon is between 5.5 and 7.0.
