How to lock SMS on Xiaomi mobile phone

1. There is a folder called "System and Security" on the desktop of Xiaomi system. Click Open. (If you can't find it, you can also open it in turn: Settings-Security Privacy-Privacy Protection-Access Restrictions)

2. Locate Password Protection and click Open.

3. Select "Privacy Protection" at the bottom.

4. Turn on access restrictions. Then click Set Access-Restricted Applications.

5. When you use it for the first time, you need to set the mode password. A * * * needs to be entered twice, and both times are the same.

6. After setting the password, you can choose the program that needs to be encrypted. As shown below, if you open the button behind SMS, you need to enter a password to access SMS. 7. When opening SMS after setting, you must enter the password.

If you want to cancel password protection, just turn off Access Restrictions and enter the password.
