How does Apple stop harassing phone calls and text messages?

You can use "Silent Unknown Calls" or a third-party application on the iPhone to stop harassing calls.

2. Turn on "Mute Unknown Caller"

In iOS 13, you can turn on "mute unknown calls" to avoid answering strange calls. This feature can block phone numbers that you have never contacted and are not stored in your contact list. If you sent a text message to someone's phone number before, or someone shared their phone number with you by email, the incoming call at this number will ring.
