How does outlook cancel a meeting invitation without notifying the attendees?
If you are afraid of disturbing others, you can clearly write "The meeting is over, cancel the schedule" in the email that cancels the meeting.
How to cancel a meeting through OUTLOOK:
When the meeting is no longer needed and you want to inform the attendees that the meeting has been cancelled, delete the meeting from the Outlook calendar.
Note: You can only cancel the meeting you organized. If you want to delete a meeting invitation from your calendar, see Deleting a Meeting.
Switch to your calendar and find the meeting.
Double-click the meeting to open it.
On the ribbon, click Cancel Meeting.
The meeting form will be changed to a meeting cancellation form. Type a message to inform attendees that the meeting has been cancelled. No, but it helps to avoid confusion.
Click "Send Cancel".
The Send Cancel button in the Outlook meeting window will delete the meeting, including all meeting agendas, notes and attachments.
Only the meeting organizer (that is, the person who sent the meeting request) can send the meeting update or cancellation notice.
