I scolded others with text messages. What are the consequences?

1. In judicial practice, if the perpetrator only sent it once and the circumstances are minor, it is good for the public security organ to criticize and educate him. According to the law, he doesn't have to bear the responsibility of public security management. If the perpetrator insults others repeatedly by making harassing phone calls or sending harassing text messages, he shall bear corresponding administrative or criminal responsibilities.

2. If the perpetrator repeatedly sends information to insult others, according to Article 42 of the Law on Public Security Administration Punishment, if he repeatedly sends obscenity, insult, intimidation or other information to disturb the normal life of others, he shall be detained for not more than 5 days or fined for not more than 500 yuan. If the circumstances are serious, they shall be detained for more than 5 days 10 days, and may also be fined up to 500 yuan. Moreover, if the circumstances are serious, the possibility of criminal responsibility cannot be ruled out.
