Is Ukrainian law obligated to perform military service?

According to Ukraine's military service obligations and military service law, all healthy males between the ages of 18 and 25 should be recruited into the Ukrainian armed forces or other military organizations in 20 14 if they have no right to exempt or postpone military service.

The purpose of conscription is to maintain the combat effectiveness of Ukrainian armed forces and other military organizations and strengthen the army's ability to deal with potential and real threats.
