What are the conditions for joining NLD?

According to the constitution of China Democratic League, the conditions for joining the League are as follows: China intellectuals engaged in cultural education, science and technology voluntarily abide by the constitution of China Democratic League and can apply for membership.

When recruiting allies, we should put political standards first. I must submit a written application, be introduced by two league members, be investigated and discussed by grass-roots organizations, be submitted to the district or autonomous prefecture committees of the city divided into districts for examination and approval, and be reported step by step, and be filed by NLD Central Committee. When necessary, the municipal, autonomous prefecture and above committees with districts can directly absorb members.

Member management

Article 17 of the articles of association of the China Democratic League stipulates that when a league member changes to work in a foreign country due to work, he shall go through the formalities for the transfer of organizational relations.

Article 18. Members are free to quit the League. If a member wants to leave the League, he should submit a written request, which will be submitted to the local superior organization for approval by the grass-roots organization, reported step by step, and filed by the NLD Central Committee. His position in the trade union will automatically terminate as of the date of quitting the trade union.

Article 19. If a member fails to participate in the organization activities, keep in touch with the organization or pay the tour fee for one year in a row without special circumstances, and fails to make corrections after education, his membership will be cancelled, which will be discussed and approved by the grass-roots organizations, reported to the NLD organization at a higher level for review, approved by the provincial, autonomous regional and municipal committees, and reported to the NLD Central Committee for the record.
