Is it illegal to expose privacy?

Legal analysis: It is illegal to expose personal privacy without permission, which is an invasion of privacy. Privacy is the private space, private activities and private information that natural people live in peace and don't want to be known by others. Where there are other provisions in the law, those provisions shall prevail.

Legal basis: Article 990 of People's Republic of China (PRC) Civil Law is the right to life, body, health, name, portrait, reputation, honor and privacy enjoyed by civil subjects. In addition to the personality rights stipulated in the preceding paragraph, natural persons enjoy other personality rights based on personal freedom and personal dignity.
