70% of young people fled Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. Where did they go?

In the survey, 71 young people in first-tier cities were ready to "escape" or had already "fleeed." This is not counting people who have ideas and are still struggling. But what is the result? 23 people decided to leave, 32 people left and came back, and 16 people just killed the idea in their hearts. Including those who left and came back, in fact, most people stayed after all.

Why do you always want to escape?

The pressure is high, the environment is poor, and it is difficult to settle down. In the eyes of outsiders, "there is no future". The money you earn cannot beat the cost of living in the city. Even if you save for decades, you may not be able to buy a house. . They joked themselves, "You can't make any money even if you work around all day long." In that case, let's go. What's wrong with being a deserter?

Where to escape?

No one who has lived in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou wants to go back to their hometown in a small county where two people can live in a room with three meals a year? Small happiness sounds very nourishing; or go to the imaginary poetry and the distant place, the pastoral song of the grassland, a horse and a group of sheep in the starry sky field? Or "Buy a house by the sea and be the proprietress of a mood grocery store?"

Probably neither. There are no bars and nightclubs in small counties, there are no Didi taxis in small counties, and there are no cutting-edge life experiences in small counties. People can move forward to accept novel challenges, but it is difficult to go back to the past. The survey shows that 50% of young people who thought about fleeing Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou went to provincial capital cities and municipalities directly under the Central Government. A colorful life that can only be found in big cities.

Someone told me that if you have the ability, you can make a career anywhere. That's true, but the fact is that the city's resource collaboration system is a natural opportunity. For example, even if you are a courier, you may have to travel ten kilometers to deliver 10 orders in a small county town, but in Beijing, a unit building can allow you to deliver dozens of orders, and your income will of course be different. Another example is coffee shops and teahouses. Only larger cities with a large flow of people and a consumer environment will give you enough space to operate. Otherwise, the low cost of small towns will result in a depression of empty spaces.

For individuals, the creativity of big cities gives everyone benefits, and benefits mean more population inflow, which is a virtuous cycle. This is why big cities have more and more people and more colorful lives, while small counties can only lag behind. Sometimes, making money is not the only purpose of life, getting more exciting seems to be more important.
