How old can Putin be?

Putin is currently in his third presidential term. By 2022, he will be the president of 18.

Putin served as president from 2000 to 2008, and completed two four-year terms, ***8 years.

After four years as prime minister, Putin was re-elected as president twice in 20 12 and 20 18, and was in power until 2024.

In the meantime, in 2008, when Putin became prime minister, then Russian President Dmitry Medvedev signed a constitutional amendment to extend the presidency from four years to six years.

Putin's current presidency will end in 2024. According to the bill just passed, Putin can continue to participate in the presidential election in 2024.

In other words, if Putin is willing and supported by Russian people, he can work until he retires at the age of 84 in 2036.
