Article 5 To apply to practice law, one must meet the following conditions:

(1) Support the Constitution of the People’s Republic of China;

(2) Obtain legal professional qualifications through the National Unified Legal Professional Qualification Examination;

The national unified judicial examination certificate and lawyer qualification certificate obtained before the implementation of the national unified legal professional qualification examination have the same validity as the national unified legal professional qualification certificate.
