The whole process of American relatives emigrating to F2A can be divided into four stages: P 1, P2, P3 and P4.

P 1: fill in I-130&; G-325a, pay the application fee of 420 and submit the following documents:

-Copy of marriage certificate

Notarized marriage certificate

-A copy of the main applicant's green card.

-The beneficiary's birth certificate in China.

-Copies of passport identity pages of major green card applicants and China beneficiaries.

P 1 is basically a long wait (about 1.5 years). When the priority date approaches, USCIS will send an I797 approval letter by email to inform us that the case has been approved and will be sent to NVC. At this point, the case will be approved by NVC and the US Consulate in Guangzhou.

P2: When P 1 is approved by the Immigration Bureau, the case will be handed over to NVC. When the timetable approaches, USCIS will write to inform you that the case has been approved (i.e. 1-797 approval letter), and it will be transferred to NVC for further review. About 1 month, NVC will send you an address confirmation letter, and the address is GUZ number, which is DS3032.

Before P3 starts, you can write to NVC to apply for electronization after receiving DS3032. Electronization refers to sending all documents submitted in the future to NVC's electronic acceptance mailbox in the form of scanned pdf files. If you don't apply for electronization, all documents submitted in PK3 will be mailed to the receiving address of NVC in paper form.

P3:

Step 1: Each beneficiary completes an independent DS230 with a payment of 230/person, and provides the following documents:

P4:

After P3 is approved, it will receive a widely distributed notice, that is, it will inform that the document has been approved and send it to the US Consulate in Guangzhou for further processing. At this time, the beneficiary is required to prepare all original documents to be submitted at P3 stage, including DS230 filled in and signed by the beneficiary himself, and I-864 filled in and signed by the guarantor, co-guarantor and co-guarantor's spouse. I-864a, the beneficiary's resume, passport, photo and face-to-face visa are submitted to the US Consulate in Guangzhou again on the same day.

When it's your turn to schedule, you will receive an invitation to make an appointment for a face-to-face interview online. After receiving the online appointment invitation, you can print it out and complete the physical examination.

At this time, you need to log on to the website of the American Consulate, register your account, choose the time when instant noodles are signed the most within the time range provided by him, and choose CITIC Bank (note that visa packages are sent to CITIC Bank now, not directly to private addresses).

After the face-to-face visa is passed, you can receive the visa package from the US Consulate in Guangzhou in about 20 days. A very important question is, except that you can take out your own passport and the beneficiary's passport in the package, remember not to open other sealed envelopes. Only when you enter the United States, American customs officials have the right to open it. If you open the sealed visa package, you may be restricted from entering the United States.
