In accordance with the relevant regulations on epidemic prevention and control of the country, Heilongjiang Province, and Daqing City and the relevant requirements of the Provincial Department of Education, combined with the actual epidemic prevention and control work of the school and the needs of education and teaching work, we are now notifying the opening arrangements for the spring semester of 2021 As follows:

1. Time for faculty and staff to return to school

From March 1st to 14th, teachers will conduct online teaching; starting from March 15th, offline teaching will resume (foreign International students still use a combination of online and offline teaching methods).

The working day for faculty and staff will be February 28th. The school will organize nucleic acid testing on February 25th and 26th. Only those with negative test results can go to work. 14 days before the start of school, teachers and staff should in principle return to the school location for home observation.

Those who have a history of traveling to medium or high-risk areas within 14 days before the start of school must undergo quarantine observation in accordance with relevant regulations. After the nucleic acid test is normal and the isolation is lifted, they can enter with a valid negative nucleic acid test certificate within 7 days. Work on campus.

2. Time for students to attend class and return to school

From March 1st to 14th, students will participate in online teaching activities through the Internet; offline classroom teaching will resume on March 15th Activities (foreign students participate in online and offline teaching activities).

Students in low-risk areas return to school at a staggered time (on the day of return, online teaching will be suspended for one day). Before returning to school, they must complete 14 days of medical observation at home and be in good physical condition without fever or cough within 14 days. Only those with symptoms such as fatigue, diarrhea, etc. can return to school normally. The specific return time is as follows:

March 10: 2020 undergraduate students return to school;

All full-time doctoral students and full-time master’s students from the class of 2018 return to school.

March 11: 2019 undergraduate students return to school;

2019 full-time master’s students return to school;

2020 vocational students return to school ( Qinhuangdao Campus).

March 12: 2018 undergraduate students return to school;

2020 full-time master’s students return to school;

2019 vocational students return to school ( Qinhuangdao Campus).

March 13: Undergraduate students from the class of 2017 return to campus;

Vocational students from the class of 2018 return to campus (Qinhuangdao Campus).

Part-time master’s students who need to attend classes full-time or conduct thesis research will return to school according to the above timetable after approval by their supervisor and the department.

Foreign teachers and students abroad will not return to school unless notified by the school.

All students will undergo a nucleic acid test as soon as possible after entering the school (the test cost will be borne by the school). Those with negative test results will officially start offline classes on March 15. The Student Affairs Department, Graduate Department, School of International Education, Qinhuangdao Campus and each college are responsible for notifying each student of specific return-to-school requirements. Students must strictly implement the "three treasures" management requirements for epidemic prevention of "scanning codes, taking temperature, and wearing masks" when returning to school and after returning to school. Students are not allowed to return to school early without school approval.

3. Explanation on the situation of students who will not return to school temporarily

(1) I or my family members living with *** are currently confirmed cases, nucleic acid test positive, suspected cases, close contacts Those who have been in contact with COVID-19 will not return to school for the time being (the specific return time is to be determined);

(2) Those who have a history of high-risk areas for the new coronavirus pneumonia epidemic, a history of overseas travel, and a history of contact with people in the above-mentioned areas in the 14 days before returning to school. Not returning to school for the time being (you can only return to school after being quarantined and observed in accordance with local regulations, and after the nucleic acid test is normal and the isolation is released, with the approval of the school and a negative nucleic acid test certificate valid within 7 days);

(3 ) If I am currently in a medium- to high-risk area in China or am returning through a medium-to-high-risk area in China, I will not return to school for the time being (it will be postponed for 14 days from the date when the corresponding area is transferred to a low-risk area. I can only return after being approved by the school and holding a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 7 days. (4) Those who have symptoms such as fever, cough, diarrhea, etc. will not return to school for the time being (they will not be able to return to school until they are asymptomatic after treatment and have been approved by the school with a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 7 days) .

Students who do not meet the conditions for returning to school are strictly prohibited from returning to school. If there are any violations, centralized medical isolation will be implemented in accordance with the relevant regulations of Daqing City’s epidemic prevention and control work, and corresponding disciplinary sanctions will be given depending on the circumstances.

4. Teaching Arrangements

Returning students will participate in the school’s normal teaching activities. For other students who will not return to school for the time being, online teaching will be organized simultaneously by the Academic Affairs Office, Graduate School, School of International Education, and Qinhuangdao Campus. In order to ensure the health and safety of teachers and students, if the epidemic situation changes, the school will strictly follow the latest requirements of superiors, make corresponding adjustments to the return to school arrangements in a timely manner, and notify every teacher and student in advance.
