What does it mean that the SMS is set to read?

After the SMS is set to read, the system will regard it as read by the user, and there will be no unread mark.

The setting method is as follows:

1. Take Xiaomi mobile phone as an example. First, click the desktop icon to enter the SMS.

2. Then swipe right quickly on the message you don't want to read.

3. Then the words read will appear on the left side of the message, and the message will become read.
