How to sever the father-son relationship with his father

Jurisprudence analysis: if the father-son relationship is formed based on blood relationship, the father-son relationship cannot be severed. If the stepfather and stepson are related by blood, or the adoptive father and adopted son are related by blood, the father-son relationship can be severed by dissolving the adoption relationship. Parents have the right and obligation to have custody of minor children. When parents use custody, they must not harm the legitimate rights and interests of their children, and some parents may abuse their children and damage their property.

Legal basis: Article 1 14 of the Civil Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) (hereinafter referred to as "Civil Law"), the adopter may not dissolve the adoption relationship before the adoptee reaches adulthood, unless the adopter and the adopter agree to dissolve it. If the adopted child reaches the age of eight, the consent of the adoptee shall be obtained. If the adopter fails to perform the obligation of raising, maltreatment, abandonment and other acts infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests of the minor adopted child, the adopter has the right to demand the dissolution of the adoptive relationship between the adoptive parents and the adopted child. If the adopter and the adopter cannot reach an agreement on the dissolution of the adoption relationship, they may bring a lawsuit to the people's court.
